Made from a really beautiful piece of Claro Walnut with a feathering/crotch figure, which typically occurs where two branches or limbs meet in a tree. As a wood turning, often times we acquire wood for projects where the grain isn’t fully visible, and only does so once we start to work it. This was a very pleasant surprise and was perfect for a hollow form design. With a very clean and refined form, this is definitely one of my personal favorites.
