Made from Black Walnut, this bowl was turned while the wood still had moisture, then air dried to create a natural form. The bowl has incredible figuring referred to a “crotch” which forms where two limbs join on a tree. This crotch figuring is textured in touch due to the natural air drying - a very unique piece that’s one of my personal favorites.
