This is a fun little piece that surprised me with how well it turned out. I salvaged this wood personally from a large Oregon White Oak tree that unfortunately had to be cut down after it started to lean following a strong storm. I turned this while it was still wet and then let it air dry, resulting in a lopsided and organic form that matches well with its irregular and spalted grain patterns.
